Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Zhong Kui by Ding Yanyong was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October last year. The price achieved of HKD 62,400.00 (€ 7,996.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Yanyong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crane In The Wait For Flight in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 9,040,000.00 (€ 884,914.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Zhong Kui von Ding Yanyong wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.400,00 (€ 7.996,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Yanyong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crane In The Wait For Flight im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.040.000,00 (€ 884.914,95).
