Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ding Yanyong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2015. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Figures sold for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 51,973.02) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Yanyong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crane In The Wait For Flight in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 9,040,000.00 (€ 884,914.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ding Yanyong erzielte im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Figures für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 51.973,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Yanyong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crane In The Wait For Flight im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.040.000,00 (€ 884.914,95).
