Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Farewell My Concubine(Painted In 1977) by Ding Yanyong. The price achieved of HKD 413,000.00 (€ 45,455.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Yanyong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crane In The Wait For Flight in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 9,040,000.00 (€ 884,914.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Farewell My Concubine(Painted In 1977) von Ding Yanyong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 413.000,00 (€ 45.455,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Yanyong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crane In The Wait For Flight im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.040.000,00 (€ 884.914,95).
