Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Louise Neri by David Seidner for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,591.93). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs from the Collection of Nancy Richardson at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by David Seidner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "YSL", Anh Duong, 1986 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 20,160.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Louise Neri von David Seidner für USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.591,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs from the Collection of Nancy Richardson bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Seidner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "YSL", Anh Duong, 1986 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.160,00.
