Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape sketch by Laura Knight was auctioned at Bonhams in London in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,024.00 (€ 1,024.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Laura Knight achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wind And Sun in July 2009 with an auction result of GBP 914,850.00 (€ 1,038,080.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape sketch von Laura Knight kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.024,00 (€ 1.024,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Laura Knight erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wind And Sun im Juli 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 914.850,00 (€ 1.038.080,52).
