Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British Art, which included the work Rolling Over Horse 38.9 cm. (15 1/4 in.) wide by Elisabeth Frink. The price achieved of GBP 57,550.00 (€ 66,687.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elisabeth Frink achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seated Man in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 1,082,500.00 (€ 1,352,531.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rolling Over Horse 38.9 cm. (15 1/4 in.) wide von Elisabeth Frink zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 57.550,00 (€ 66.687,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elisabeth Frink erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seated Man im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.082.500,00 (€ 1.352.531,96).
