Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Carl Christian Constantin Hansen could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings and furniture (postponed) auction, the work A study of a bull changed hands for DKK 2,600.00 (€ 349.22) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Christian Constantin Hansen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danish Neptuns Tempel Ved Pestum (The Temple Of Poseidon, Paestum) in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 24,500.00 (€ 31,165.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Christian Constantin Hansen konnte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings and furniture (postponed) wechselte die Arbeit A study of a bull für DKK 2.600,00 (€ 349,22) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Christian Constantin Hansen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danish Neptuns Tempel Ved Pestum (The Temple Of Poseidon, Paestum) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.500,00 (€ 31.165,07).
