The work Seascape by Constant Permeke was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 15,000.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constant Permeke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torse in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 393,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Seascape von Constant Permeke wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 15.000,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constant Permeke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torse im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 393.000,00.
