Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Conradijn Cunaeus could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2000 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Horsemen by a village square, a church beyond changed hands for NLG 819.14 (€ 348.48) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of NLG 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Conradijn Cunaeus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Staande honden: two setters picking up a scent trail in May 2014 with an auction result of EUR 9,375.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Conradijn Cunaeus konnte im März 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wechselte die Arbeit Horsemen by a village square, a church beyond für NLG 819,14 (€ 348,48) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von NLG 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Conradijn Cunaeus erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Staande honden: two setters picking up a scent trail im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.375,00.
