Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Four compositions, 2009 by Claus Carstensen for DKK 1,050.00 (€ 140.77). This price was achieved in the auction {} at Bruun Rasmussen in Modern art and design and was even below the estimate range of DKK 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claus Carstensen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Silent-take-over-6” in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 8,500.00 (€ 7,428.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Four compositions, 2009 von Claus Carstensen für DKK 1.050,00 (€ 140,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion {} bei Bruun Rasmussen in Modern art and design erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claus Carstensen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Silent-take-over-6” im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 8.500,00 (€ 7.428,77).
