Auction result fails to reach estimate
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Composition by Claus Carstensen for DKK 14,000.00 (€ 1,875.85). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 20,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claus Carstensen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “Silent-take-over-6”, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 8,500.00 (€ 7,428.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Composition von Claus Carstensen für DKK 14.000,00 (€ 1.875,85) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Claus Carstensen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “Silent-take-over-6” beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 8.500,00 (€ 7.428,77) versteigert wurde.
