This artwork by Claude Viallat achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in December 2021. In the SELECTEDArt d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain auction, the work Sans titre sold for EUR 29,062.50 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claude Viallat - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre, which sold at auction in May 2021 for EUR 75,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Claude Viallat erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion SELECTEDArt d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain wurde die Arbeit Sans titre für EUR 29.062,50 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Claude Viallat mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für EUR 75.600,00 versteigert wurde.
