Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Neon Oiseau by Vardea Chryssa was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 20,400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vardea Chryssa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les portes de Times Square, New York in May last year with an auction result of EUR 315,375.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Neon Oiseau von Vardea Chryssa kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 20.400,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vardea Chryssa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les portes de Times Square, New York im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 315.375,00.
