Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Coastal view with roaring waves by Christian Vigilius Blache was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in December this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 335.38). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Vigilius Blache achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Copenhagen harbour in January 2009 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,628.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Coastal view with roaring waves von Christian Vigilius Blache im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 335,38) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Vigilius Blache erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Copenhagen harbour im Januar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.628,32).
