Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Christian Benjamin Olsen could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Seascape with a small sailing ship reflecting in the ocean changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.23) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Benjamin Olsen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seascape with steam ship with the Danish flag, in the background Kronborg Castle, which sold at auction in December this year for DKK 5,500.00 (€ 737.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christian Benjamin Olsen konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Seascape with a small sailing ship reflecting in the ocean für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,23) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Benjamin Olsen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seascape with steam ship with the Danish flag, in the background Kronborg Castle beobachtet, die im Dezember diesen Jahres für DKK 5.500,00 (€ 737,84) versteigert wurde.
