In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Seascape with a small sailing ship reflecting in the ocean changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.23) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Benjamin Olsen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seascape with steam ship with the Danish flag, in the background Kronborg Castle, which sold at auction in December this year for DKK 5,500.00 (€ 737.84).

In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Seascape with a small sailing ship reflecting in the ocean für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,23) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Benjamin Olsen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seascape with steam ship with the Danish flag, in the background Kronborg Castle beobachtet, die im Dezember diesen Jahres für DKK 5.500,00 (€ 737,84) versteigert wurde.
