Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work Coast scenery in the moon light by Christian Benjamin Olsen for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.18). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Benjamin Olsen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seascape with steam ship with the Danish flag, in the background Kronborg Castle, which sold at auction in December this year for DKK 5,500.00 (€ 737.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Coast scenery in the moon light von Christian Benjamin Olsen für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Benjamin Olsen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seascape with steam ship with the Danish flag, in the background Kronborg Castle beobachtet, die im Dezember diesen Jahres für DKK 5.500,00 (€ 737,84) versteigert wurde.
