Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year POLY held the auction Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors II, which included the work A Lady In A Vase by Cheng Shifa. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 4,200.00 (€ 503.42). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cheng Shifa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ladies in Leisurely Pursuits in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 7,480,000.00 (€ 707,419.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors II durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Lady In A Vase von Cheng Shifa zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 4.200,00 (€ 503,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cheng Shifa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ladies in Leisurely Pursuits im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.480.000,00 (€ 707.419,35).
