In October 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Convergences - A Selection of Chen Wen Hsi Paintings, which included the work Egrets by Chen Wen Hsi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 566,400.00 (€ 66,170.62), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Wen Hsi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pasar (Market) in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 13,240,000.00 (€ 1,256,407.24).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen

Im Oktober 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Convergences - A Selection of Chen Wen Hsi Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Egrets von Chen Wen Hsi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 566.400,00 (€ 66.170,62) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Wen Hsi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pasar (Market) im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.240.000,00 (€ 1.256.407,24).
