Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Carps by Chen Wen Hsi was sold in the Modern Day Auction auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 478,800.00 (€ 57,890.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 380,000.00 – 580,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Wen Hsi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pasar (Market) in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 13,240,000.00 (€ 1,256,407.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Carps von Chen Wen Hsi wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Day Auction bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 478.800,00 (€ 57.890,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 380.000,00 – 580.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Wen Hsi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pasar (Market) im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.240.000,00 (€ 1.256.407,24).
