Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Lady In Profile by Charles-Nicolas Cochin the Younger was sold in the Old Master & British Drawings auction at Sothebys in London in July 2014. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,729.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles-Nicolas Cochin the Younger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A seated couple playing backgammon by candlelight in July 2003 with an auction result of GBP 33,460.00 (€ 43,734.48).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady In Profile von Charles-Nicolas Cochin the Younger wurde im Juli 2014 in der Auktion Old Master & British Drawings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.729,93) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00.
