Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Charles Lapicque could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Ferme en Bretagne changed hands for USD 4,800.00 (€ 3,757.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Lapicque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait d'un Tigre in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 277,200.00 (€ 325,638.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Charles Lapicque konnte im Oktober 2006 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The House Sale wechselte die Arbeit Ferme en Bretagne für USD 4.800,00 (€ 3.757,93) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Lapicque erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait d'un Tigre im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.200,00 (€ 325.638,59).
