Auction result well in line with expectations
The work German The Mask by Cesar Klein was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,786.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cesar Klein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „Madonna“. in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 62,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit German The Mask von Cesar Klein kam im November 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.786,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cesar Klein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „Madonna“. im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 62.500,00.
