Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
When the work Senza Titolo by Carla Badiali was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in May 2008, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 5,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than five times as high at EUR 25,450.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Carla Badiali; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composizione in rosa n.152 sold at auction in December 2013 with the realized price of EUR 32,000.00.
Kunstwerk zum Fünffachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Carla Badiali im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 5.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 25.450,00 mehr als fünfmal so hoch. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Carla Badiali; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Composizione in rosa n.152 im Dezember 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 32.000,00.
