Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Senza titolo by Carla Accardi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 35,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 37,800.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Carla Accardi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Violarosso in November last year with an auction result of EUR 180,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Carla Accardi kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 37.800,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carla Accardi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Violarosso im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 180.000,00.
