Upper estimate price exceeded by 50 %.
In May this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Rossoorogrigio by Carla Accardi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 12,000.00 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carla Accardi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Violarosso in November last year with an auction result of EUR 180,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rossoorogrigio von Carla Accardi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 12.000,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carla Accardi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Violarosso im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 180.000,00.
