In April 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Am Golf Von Sorrent by Carl Wilhelm Götzloff. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 16,730.00 39% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Wilhelm Götzloff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „Castel dell'Ovo“., which sold at auction in June 2015 for EUR 43,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Im April 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Am Golf Von Sorrent von Carl Wilhelm Götzloff zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 16.730,00 und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Wilhelm Götzloff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „Castel dell'Ovo“. beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für EUR 43.750,00 versteigert wurde.
