Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,120.00 (€ 4,578.83). Admittedly, works by Carl Millner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountain Landscape with Cattle Watering by a Lake in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 26,400.00 (€ 19,326.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Harvesters in an alpine landscpe von Carl Millner kam im September 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.120,00 (€ 4.578,83) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Millner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountain Landscape with Cattle Watering by a Lake im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 26.400,00 (€ 19.326,50).
