Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Träden vänta/Les arbres attendents" by Carl Kylberg was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 400,000.00 – 500,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 370,000.00 (€ 33,727.60). Admittedly, works by Carl Kylberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Segeltorkning (II)" in November 2021 with an auction result of SEK 3,300,000.00 (€ 321,901.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Träden vänta/Les arbres attendents" von Carl Kylberg im November letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 400.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 370.000,00 (€ 33.727,60) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Kylberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Segeltorkning (II)" im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 3.300.000,00 (€ 321.901,30).
