Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work 'Familjen - variation I' (The Family - variation I) by Carl Fredrik Hill was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 8,000,000.00 – 10,000,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 7,000,000.00 (€ 682,806.15). Other works by Carl Fredrik Hill have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2010 by the work "Det blommande fruktträdet" at SEK 9,200,000.00 (€ 964,836.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit 'Familjen - variation I' (The Family - variation I) von Carl Fredrik Hill im Dezember 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000.000,00 – 10.000.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 7.000.000,00 (€ 682.806,15) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Carl Fredrik Hill wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2010 die Arbeit "Det blommande fruktträdet" mit SEK 9.200.000,00 (€ 964.836,06).
