In the Israeli & International Art auction, the work Joseph, Jacob And Fighters sold for USD 47,500.00 (€ 36,023.05) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bruno Schulz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Woman Seated On A Couch, A Man At Her Shoe, which sold at auction in December 2013 for USD 118,750.00 (€ 86,181.87).
