Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Six compositions by Bjørn Nørgaard was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in January 2024, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of DKK 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,650.00 (€ 1,442.06). Admittedly, works by Bjørn Nørgaard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Den genmodificerede Havfrue” in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 11,500.00 (€ 10,050.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Six compositions von Bjørn Nørgaard im Januar 2024 bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.650,00 (€ 1.442,06) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bjørn Nørgaard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Den genmodificerede Havfrue” im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 11.500,00 (€ 10.050,69).
