Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work To The Fields by Betty Swanwick was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2010. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 875.00 (€ 1,045.62). Admittedly, works by Betty Swanwick have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Flight of the Doves in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,992.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit To The Fields von Betty Swanwick kam im November 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 875,00 (€ 1.045,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Betty Swanwick auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Flight of the Doves im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.992,23).
