The work Study for an Indeterminate Line - 1993 by Bernar Venet was auctioned at Artcurial in December this year. It achieved a price of EUR 22,304.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 49 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernar Venet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 221.5° Arc x 15 in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 877,000.00 (€ 777,000.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Study for an Indeterminate Line - 1993 von Bernar Venet kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 22.304,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernar Venet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 221.5° Arc x 15 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 877.000,00 (€ 777.000,09).
