Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work 2 arcs de 215° chacun by Bernar Venet. The price achieved of EUR 51,168.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernar Venet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 221.5° Arc x 15 in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 877,000.00 (€ 777,000.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 2 arcs de 215° chacun von Bernar Venet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 51.168,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernar Venet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 221.5° Arc x 15 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 877.000,00 (€ 777.000,09).
