A top price for Béla Kádár
The work Hungarian arcadia by Béla Kádár was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 63,650.00 (€ 78,410.34). With this result, Hungarian arcadia is even the most expensive work of art by Béla Kádár that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Hungarian arcadia von Béla Kádár wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 63.650,00 (€ 78.410,34) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Hungarian arcadia sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Béla Kádár, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
