Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work The Fountain at Blickling Hall, Norfolk by Beatrice Parsons for GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,557.91). This price was achieved in the auction Christopher Wood A Very Victorian Eye at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Beatrice Parsons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British Annunciation in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 78,000.00 (€ 57,101.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Fountain at Blickling Hall, Norfolk von Beatrice Parsons für GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.557,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christopher Wood A Very Victorian Eye bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Beatrice Parsons erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit British Annunciation im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 78.000,00 (€ 57.101,02).
