Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,937.20). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Beatrice Parsons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British Annunciation in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 78,000.00 (€ 57,101.02).

Die Arbeit An apple orchard before Canterbury Cathedral von Beatrice Parsons kam im September 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.937,20) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Beatrice Parsons erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit British Annunciation im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 78.000,00 (€ 57.101,02).
