Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Pahalgam) by Avinash Chandra was auctioned at Christies in September 2021. The price achieved of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,275.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Avinash Chandra have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 104,906.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Pahalgam) von Avinash Chandra kam im September 2021 bei Christies zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.275,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Avinash Chandra auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 104.906,27).
