The work Figures on Dark Ground by Avinash Chandra was auctioned at Bonhams in London in May last year. It achieved a price of GBP 2,550.00 (€ 2,999.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Avinash Chandra achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 104,906.27).

Die Arbeit Figures on Dark Ground von Avinash Chandra kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.550,00 (€ 2.999,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Avinash Chandra erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 104.906,27).
