Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Main by Auguste Herbin. The price achieved of EUR 6,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Herbin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Route De Montagne En Corse in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 855,000.00 (€ 732,647.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Main von Auguste Herbin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Herbin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Route De Montagne En Corse im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 855.000,00 (€ 732.647,81).
