Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Italian Hillside Town by Albert Zimmermann was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2006. The price achieved of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,209.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Albert Zimmermann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Monaco (Riviera di Ponente) in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.209,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Zimmermann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Monaco (Riviera di Ponente) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.500,00.
