Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Natura Morta by Atanasio Soldati was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in May 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 23,750.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Atanasio Soldati - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stanza, which sold at auction in April 2019 for EUR 87,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Natura Morta von Atanasio Soldati im Mai 2017 bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 23.750,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Atanasio Soldati mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stanza beobachtet, die im April 2019 für EUR 87.500,00 versteigert wurde.
