Auction result fails to reach estimate
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Count the differences between 2 equal matters” and paperbag from the Excellent 1992 by Arthur Köpcke for DKK 1,050.00 (€ 140.85). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 2,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Köpcke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ohne Titel (Aus: »Berge und Rosen«) in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 4,902.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Count the differences between 2 equal matters” and paperbag from the Excellent 1992 von Arthur Köpcke für DKK 1.050,00 (€ 140,85) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Köpcke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Aus: »Berge und Rosen«) im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.902,00.
