Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art including Works from the Collection of Bannon & Barnabas McHenry, which included the work Albert Square by Arthur Delaney. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,251.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Arthur Delaney have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2007 the work Market Street was auctioned for GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,714.45).

Im Dezember 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art including Works from the Collection of Bannon & Barnabas McHenry durch, in der auch die Arbeit Albert Square von Arthur Delaney zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.251,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Arthur Delaney konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2007 die Arbeit Market Street für GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.714,45) versteigert.
