This artwork by Antonio Seguí achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in April this year. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Hommage à Dante Quinterno - 2003 sold for EUR 13,120.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonio Seguí have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pensar En Todo in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 87 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antonio Seguí erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Hommage à Dante Quinterno - 2003 für EUR 13.120,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonio Seguí auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pensar En Todo im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
