In November 2008 Christies in Milan held the auction Post War and Contemporary, which included the work Senza titolo by Antonio Sanfilippo. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 16,900.00 41% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Sanfilippo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Senza titolo, which sold at auction in November 2020 for EUR 62,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 41 % übertroffen
Im November 2008 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Post War and Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo von Antonio Sanfilippo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 16.900,00 und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Antonio Sanfilippo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Senza titolo beobachtet, die im November 2020 für EUR 62.500,00 versteigert wurde.
