The work Hommage au Greco by Antoni Clavé was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in June last year. It achieved a price of EUR 22,950.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoni Clavé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Musiciens in February 2005 with an auction result of GBP 187,200.00 (€ 271,463.97).

Die Arbeit Hommage au Greco von Antoni Clavé kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 22.950,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antoni Clavé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Musiciens im Februar 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 187.200,00 (€ 271.463,97).
