In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, the work Les Dames De Tanger sold for GBP 11,340.00 (€ 13,434.84) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antoine Malliarakis Mayo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Egyptian ismailia, Le Marché Arabe (Ismailia, The Arab Market) in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 84,047.74).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Antoine Malliarakis Mayo erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East wurde die Arbeit Les Dames De Tanger für GBP 11.340,00 (€ 13.434,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antoine Malliarakis Mayo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Egyptian ismailia, Le Marché Arabe (Ismailia, The Arab Market) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 84.047,74).
