Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Léopard by Antoine-Louis Barye was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in February last year. The price achieved of EUR 910.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine-Louis Barye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Angélique Et Roger, Montés Sur L'Hippogriffe (Bouche Fermée) [Seconde Version|AID1005825] in February 2016 with an auction result of EUR 237,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Léopard von Antoine-Louis Barye wurde im Februar letzten Jahres in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 910,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antoine-Louis Barye erzielen.
