Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 910.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine-Louis Barye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Angélique Et Roger, Montés Sur L'Hippogriffe (Bouche Fermée) [Seconde Version|AID1005825] in February 2016 with an auction result of EUR 237,400.00.
